Hubble Space Telescope developer talks about the world's greatest telescope

Jim Odom, project manager of the Hubble Space Telescope at Marshall Space Flight Center, will discuss the final phase of the telescope's development in a free talk at 5:30 p.m.
Odom's talk will be at the U.S. Space & Rocket Center as part of the center's "Pass the Torch" lecture series. It will take place in the auditorium of the Davidson Center for Space Technology.
The Hubble telescope has rewritten textbooks, spawned thousands of incredible photographs of galaxies and the "factories" where new stars are born, and helped date the universe itself. It was put into orbit by the Space Shuttle Discovery 24 years ago.
